We welcome your feedback

At Emerge Women & Children’s Support Network, we are committed to providing safe, respectful and high-quality support.

We welcome feedback, compliments and complaints from anyone who interacts with our organisation. Your feedback helps us learn, improve and strengthen the way we support women and children.

Sharing feedback or making a complaint

You can contact us at any time to share feedback, raise a concern or make a complaint.

You can do this by:

  • Completing a contact form on our website
  • Emailing us via communications@emergesupport.org.au
  • Speaking with a staff member (if you are currently engaged with our service)

You are welcome to remain anonymous if you prefer.

Your safety and wellbeing

We understand that raising a concern can feel difficult, particularly if you have experienced trauma.

We will:

  • Listen with respect and without judgement
  • Take your concerns seriously
  • Respond in a way that prioritises your safety and wellbeing

If you are currently receiving support from us, sharing feedback will not affect your access to services.

How we respond

When you make a complaint, we will:

  • Acknowledge your concern as soon as possible
  • Review the information carefully
  • Respond within a reasonable timeframe

In some cases, we may need to seek further information or take additional time to ensure your concern is addressed appropriately.

Confidentiality and privacy

We will handle your feedback confidentially and inline with our privacy and confidentiality policies.

There may be times when we are required to share information, for example if there is a risk of harm to you or others, or where required by law.

If you are not satisfied

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can request that your complaint be reviewed.

You may also choose to contact an external body for further support or advice.
