Driving innovation through evidence and collaboration

Emerge is committed to advancing sector-leading practice through research, innovation and strong partnerships.

We work alongside leading academic institutions, legal services and community organisations to strengthen responses to family violence and improve outcomes for women and children. Through these collaborations, we generate evidence, test new approaches and contribute to system-wide change.

Our work is grounded in sound practice and informed by research — ensuring that our services are not only responsive but continually evolving to meet the complex needs of victim-survivors.

What this looks like in practice

We are particularly focused on early intervention for children, recognising that breaking cycles of family violence requires innovative, evidence-based approaches that support healing and connection from an early age.
