Emerge supports women and children impacted by family violence to find safety, recover and rebuild their lives.
Our impact is not only measured in the number of people we support, but in the strength, stability and connection families rebuild over time.
Children and caregivers supported through early intervention programs helping to disrupt the impacts of violence early in a child’s life

Early intervention changes the trajectory for children and families.
Through our programs, Back on Track and Messy Mini Bots, children are supported to build emotional safety, strengthen relationships and reconnect with their world — while caregivers are supported to respond with confidence and care.
This work helps prevent longer-term harm and reduces the risk of ongoing cycles of violence.

I’m so, so grateful that we got to be a part of it [Back on Track]. I actually don’t know where we'd be without it. I feel so lucky for the chance, and I hope that anybody else in the same position gets to [be involved].

Emerge’s impact extends beyond individual families.
Through innovation, evaluation and partnerships, we contribute to strengthening the family violence sector — improving how services respond to women and children across Victoria.
Our work demonstrates what is possible when early intervention, integrated support and child-centred practice come together.

We are committed to transparency, continuous improvement and evidence-informed practice.
Our Outcomes Monitoring Framework ensures we measure what matters — tracking safety, wellbeing, connection and long-term outcomes.
We also partner with research institutions to evaluate our programs and contribute to sector-wide learning.
